THRIVE IN ACTION EVENT

How to create an anti-bullying culture across your MAT, local authority or diocese

We’re connecting online between 4pm and 4.45pm GMT on Tues 31st Oct. Can’t join live? Sign up anyway and we’ll share the recording.

What is the event about?

Bullying casts a long shadow over the lives of children and young people. It inflicts profound and enduring damage to mental health and wellbeing, takes a heavy toll on school attendance, and wreaks havoc on education.

Anti-bullying Alliance statistics underscore the urgency of tackling bullying comprehensively and collectively. And educational organisations with visibility of the picture in many schools or settings can play a critical role in shaping environments for children and young people where they feel safe, supported and ready to learn.

In ‘How to create an anti-bullying culture across your MAT, local authority or diocese’, Thrive’s Viv Trask-Hall invites leaders working across multi-site organisations to audit their current multi-site anti-bullying strategy and review (then improve) it where required.

For those working within single settings such as schools and colleges, click here instead.

After just 45 minutes, you will have:

A clear grasp of the neuroscience and motivations behind bullying behaviour.

Tools and knowledge to audit your current policy and RAG rate existing practice at a strategic and local level.

Insight into the strategies that can be used across multi-site settings to foster an anti-bullying culture in schools and settings.

Thrive’s relational anti-bullying policy template – to be shared with and adopted across all schools and settings.
