Lewis has spent the last five years working with thousands of young men across the UK in secondary and higher education, engaging them in topics such as feminism, allyship, accountability, sexism, misogyny and VAWG. He has designed and delivered several interventions for schools looking to transform their masculinity school cultures, and has worked with hundreds of educators to support them in the journey towards supporting and empowering young men within their school spaces. His debut book “Masculinities in Schools” is due to be published by Sage this year.
Join Viv Trask-Hall, Thrive’s Head of Product & Innovation, in conversation with Lewis Wedlock, academic, mental health professional, and masculinities educator, for a crucial discussion on how online subcultures - such as the incel community, manosphere, and red pill ideology - are shaping the way young men think about identity, relationships, and masculinity.
Using Netflix’s Adolescence as a springboard, this fireside conversation and Q&A will help educators better understand the online influences affecting their pupils and equip them with the knowledge and confidence to support important conversations and young men’s wellbeing in school.
